Upcoming!
Transvulcania was exciting. You know my preparation and maybe you know the result. I had a great race! That feeling I had from the start line to the finish line was an amazing feeling and I can only hope that I will feel that again sometimes. First of all I was feeling confident. I had work a lot with my mind to reach that. For example I did a run which contained around 2000 meters of climbing, just because my mind said that it would be good to do that before the race. 2000 is a little less then half of the total climb on Transvulcania. So that was one thing that made my mind and soul more...

Since I started racing for Salomon (3 peaks april 2012) I have felt that every race I do is something new and that I am a newbie on the race. For sure I have not yet repeated any race, so so in that way I am new to the races. But can I consider myself as a newbie with a racing calendar the last year contained more than 20 races? I don´t know. I love racing and I feel very comfortable and not stressed at all. But I always feel very new and not very structured at all. People ask if I have a strategy or how I have prepared for this race and always need to make them disappointed, I have not a...

I have the feeling that the winter is over. Still it´s endless of white fluffy snow in the mountains, and it will stay at least until the end of May in the high mountains of Tromsö. But ay, I said to myself that in the middle of April I should start to prepare for my running season. Last weekend was it the last ski mountaineering world cup race here in Tromsö. I wanted to join and I had the feeling that I almost needed to, because it was in Tromsö. And that´s where I live you know. I didn´t really had the motivation. I think it was because I had many weeks of traveling and switching between...

What a dream it has been. Wonderful landscapes and wonderful people. Almost 2 weeks ago Greg, Francois, Rickey and me from team salomon arrived in Dunedin in NZ. NZ is Anna Frost´s home country and we where there to visit here and to explore new trails and inspiring landscapes. We explored some magic trails around Te anau. Kepler trail. We ran with light backpacks, slept in a hut and ran the rest of the trail the day after. I love spending time in the mountains with good friends. Nothing better then just be out there. No computers, no phone just ourselves and the mountains. We had so many...

It was with a open mind I walked to the start line of gran canarias maraton. I really didn´t know how my body would react to run 42 km after 3 months of no running. I was thinking that I should just test and see what happened, and I realized that I must think that I actually could pull out. Because if I would feel something that wasn´t right, some part of the body that disapproved or just the fact that I have had fever and a cold two weeks before this race I needed to see that as a possibility. I was a bit afraid. Because I don´t want to push my body to much. And because this was a new...

Summer ended, then it was time for some rest, then San Fran 50 miles and then the start of the ski season! The past years I have been skiing telemark when I have been in the mountains wintertime. But this year I decided to try ski mountaineering. And I love it. So much. It is a feeling of freedom. You can move light, fast and easy. And I decided to try some races. I started out in Norway, and won the Norwegian Championship! Then I tried a world cup and then I decided to go with the Swedish national team to the World Championship. I didn´t have any goals with races. Because I felt that I...
