Crowberries (Empetrum nigrum) is a berrie who´s very common in the Scandinavian regions. It looks a little like blueberries but has a more kernels inside. It´s a berrie who is easy to pick so you get a lot in a short amount of time.

The berrie contains a lot of vitamins. And it´s super to drink during training or after. Or just whenever, it´s so tasty the juice.

For 3 liters of berries I used 0,7 liter of water, 0,7 dl of sugar and 1 lemon.

Boil the water. Put the berries and let boil for 10-15 minutes.

Mash the berries (I used the one I use for mash potatoes, that was good).

Warm the juice you get from the berries and stir in the sugar. And the lemon.

Pour into well cleaned bottles.
